In the fall of 2013, my grandmother passed away after living a full and beautiful life for 83 years.

In the wake of her passing, we all struggled in different ways to cope with the loss of such an immense force of love in our lives.

The answer, as it so often seems to be, was to seek a complete immersion in nature, to be reminded of the immortal majesty of our planet. I was incredibly fortunate to be joined by my strong and beautiful mother on an adventure of a lifetime to the end of the earth in both Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia. Every footstep guided by my grandmother's memory, we found ourselves in some of the most beautiful places on earth, some of which are seen here.
